- "Funeral services for Jessiah Zimmerman, 74, will be held in the Harrold Funeral home Tuesday, 1:30pm with the Rev. D D Corl officiating. Mr. Zimmerman was found dead in his home 315 N Wood Street, Saturday, 8:45am. Death was attributed to natural causes. The son of Phillip and Lenora (Krouse) Zimmerman he was born in Sandusky County, May 6, 1874 and was married to the late Elzia Lucinda Woodruff in Fremont, August 11, 1896. Surviving are an adopted son, William Zimmerman, RR 1, Kansas; two brothers, Armenius Zimmerman, Bettsville; and Howard Zimmerman, Fremont; three sisters: Mrs Mary Glick, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Ada E Frank, El Cajon, Calif., Mrs. Lydia Michael, Risingsun; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr Zimmerman was a member of the Trinity EUB church. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery."
