    "The exact date of Joseph Bodurtha's death is not known. In 1707 when the land on the West side of the Connecticut river, the Commons as it was called, was divided into ten acre lots and assigned to the 73 males over 21 years of age, Joseph Bodurtha, Sen. received his portion; but in 1723 when a second division was made the heirs of Joseph are mentioned."
