JOHN KEPLINGER was born on 6 Oct 1841 at Virginia. He appeared on the
census of 1850 at Hardy County, Virginia. He appeared on the census of
1860 at Hardy County, Virginia. In 1862 Hardy County Virginia became Hardy
County West Virginia. In 1866 the western portion of Hardy County split off
to become Grant County. John Keplinger changed states and counties yet
didn't move.
He married DORMACELIA ARABELLA KEPLINGER, daughter of GEORGE
KEPLINGER JR. and ANN JEMIMA SEARS, on 17 Apr 1868 at Grant County, West
Virginia, at the age of 26. He and DORMACELIA ARABELLA KEPLINGER appeared
on the census of 1870 at Grant Township, Grant County, West Virginia. He
was a Farmer in 1870. He and DORMACELIA ARABELLA KEPLINGER appeared on the
census of 1880 at Grant Township, Grant County, West Virginia. He and
DORMACELIA ARABELLA KEPLINGER appeared on the census of 1900 at Grant
District, Grant County, West Virginia. He and DORMACELIA ARABELLA
KEPLINGER appeared on the census of 1910 at Grant Township, Grant County,
West Virginia.
He died on 22 Sep 1919 at Grant County, West Virginia, at
age 77.
