ALICE ELIZABETH RENNICK (NEE BAKEWELL)_ Sept 18, 1917 -June 3, 2006 Alice passed away in Kimberley B.C. the way she lived, quietly and with dignity, her family at her side. She enjoyed family gatherings and visits with friends over dinner or a cup of tea. She left her place of birth in Lumsden, Saskatchewan to come to Kimberley in 1988. She loved her little home at Valley View Manor in Marysville and was very pleased to have met "so many nice people " here. She will be sadly missed by her daughter <names of living individuals have been removed,> her grandson <living,> sisters <names of living individuals have been removed.> Brothers <names of living individuals have been removed.> She is also survived by her sisterin-law <living> as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and companion Wally Rennick in 1982, her parents Edith and Harry Bakewell, and a sister Louise. Also by brothers and sisters-in-law Ralph Rieter, Bill Nicholson, Len Schmitke, Dr. Coulter and Marguerite Rennick, Gordon and Anne Rennick, Kathleen and Ivan Seed, Beth and Clarence Davey and Jim Gienow. Family and friends are welcome to join us for a tea in celebration of Alice's life in the common room of Valley View Manor 916 307th Ave., Marysville at 2:00 pm on Saturday June 10. Alice chose to be cremated and returned to Regina. Those wishing to remember Alice can do so by making a donation to Marysville Housing Society, 916 307th Ave Marysville, B.C., V1A 3K6.
