Henry Lynde, d. Charlestown 9 April 1646 [ChVR 1:10]. (This son may have been named for Henry Jordan, the first husband of Thomas Lynde's second wife, although one would normally expect such a son to have been the first child born of the marriage of Thomas Lynde to the widow Jordan, and there does not seem to be time for him to have been born before the son John, baptized at Dunstable on 29 March 1634. An alternative possibility is that this death record is actually for Henry Jordan, stepson of Thomas Lynde. This could provide an explanation for the timing of the attempt by Thomas and Margaret Lynde to reclaim the money held by the Chamberlain of the City of London for the benefit of this child.)
