Elsie was married twice, she survived her last husband.

First marriage to cousin Leonard CLARK on 16 December 1938: Divorced in about 1964.

Second marriage followed on 28 June 1966 to William CHARLTON (also known as Bill) He died on 6 January 1977.

At that stage she moved in with her younger sister Kathleen BROCKIE, who had been widowed two years earlier.


Elsie was cremated then interred in the Croskery Family plot at Karori Cemetery.
