Mxs. Robert R. Renwick received many visitors and remembrances in her home, 134 Mason Court on her 93rd birthday, Friday. November 27th.
Out-of-town callers were: her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Arntzen of Glen Ellyn; granddaughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Dean J. Hewitt of Neevah, Wis.; and great-grandchildren <names of living individuals have been removed;> also Mrs. Renwick's nephew, George Wilson and wife of Sumner, Iowa.
Among local callers were Mrs. Renwick's son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Olive (sic) Renwick of Sycamore: and grandson and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Renwick and great-granddaughter Janet Renwick of Clare.
Grandson John D. Arntzen, and wife, and four great-grandsons of Clarendon Hills were unable to be there.

Mrs. Alice Renwick Sycamore -- Mrs. Alice Rote Renwick, 97, of 134 Mason Court, Sycamore, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 1969 at Pine Acres Retirement Center, DeKalb.[:CR:][:NB:][:NB:][:NB:][:NB:][:NB:] She was born Nov. 27, 1871 in Mayfield Township, the daughter of Samuel Rote and Christie Ann Younkin Rote. Growing up in that area she attended the local schools. On Dec. 17, 1890 she was married to Robert R. Renwick and they resided on the Renwick farm in Mayfield until 1917 when they moved to Sycamore. During her many years of residence here she was active in the various women's organizations of the United Methodist Church, especially the Quilters Circle. In 1950 she and her husband celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She is survived by one son, Clive D. Renwick of Sycamore; a daughter, Mrs. John C. (Gladys) Artzen of Lake Geneva; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death, were her husband and a brother, George Rote. Final services are to be conducted from the Coultrip Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Harold M. Kelley officiating. Interment will take place in the Mayfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
