    William Craigen came out from Chicago to spend the weekend with his wife and two daughters who are vacationing here for several weeks with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rosene. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Renwick and daughters, <names of living individuals have been removed> of Beaoh Creek, Ky., were also guests in the Rosene home over the weekend. Mr. Renwick is a nephew of Mrs. Rosene. The Renwick family also spent some of the time in DeKalb with Mr. Renwick's mother, Mrs. Mary Renwick.

    James Renwick, 43, of Beach Creek Ky., former well local resident and native of DeKalb, was accidentally killed Wednesday night while at his work as maintenance man, operating heavy equipment at a coal mine in the Beach Creek area. Details of the accident are unknown at this time. His sister, Mrs. Jack Hartman and husband of Sycamore, also his cousin, Mrs. William Craigen, left here by motor Thursday afternoon for Beach [Creek] ... DeKalb, the ... J. T. Renwick ... Holcomb, now of ...

    Surviving are his wife, <living,> and three daughters; <names of living individuals have been removed;> one grandson, <living;> his mother; four sisters, <names of living individuals have been removed;> and two brothers, <names of living individuals have been removed.> Preceding him in death were his first wife Dorothy Schoo, his father and a brother, Jimmy.

    Funeral services are to be conducted at Beach Creek Saturday afternoon.

    Mrs. Dorothy Schoo Renwick, 20, wife of John Renwick of DeKalb and sister-in-law of Mrs. Jack Hartman of this city, passed away Tuesday morning in DeKalb, after giving birth to a daughter. Her untimely death will be mourned by a large number of friends.

    Funeral services were held this morning at 9:30 o'clock form St. Mary's church in DeKalb with burial in St. Mary's cemetery.

    Attending the funeral from Sycamore were Mr. and Mrs. Hartman and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rosene. Mrs. Rosene's two sisters, Mrs. Frank Havel and Mrs. Louis Springer also her daughter, Mrs. William Craigen and two small granddaughters who came from Chicago to attend the funeral service.
