[edit] Surprise Birthday Dinner Thursday for Mrs. RicheyFriends and relatives of Mrs. Sarah Z. Richey surprised her with a basket birthday dinner and small gifts on her 80th birthday Thursday, Dec. 28 1959, at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Richey, on Infirmary street. the dinner was a complete surprise to her, and one of the first such surprises in her life, which she has spent in doing things for others.
Mrs. Richey was born in DeKalb County, Alabama, Dec 28, 1859, and moved to Sulphur Springs, Texas, in March 1897.
