Still rural 100 years later as well...

This picture was taken on the South East side of modern day Dixon Rd & Islington looking to the west in 1930.

This plot of land would be just north (1260 feet) of Thomas Dixon's Estate (the estate was were where Thomas McCaslin and Sarah Ann were living at least in 1856 and again in 1861).

The Thomas Dixon Estate would be off to the left while the James Dixon Estate would be straight ahead...

Actual Thomas Dixon land is not in picture - house is not part of any Dixon estate - people in the picture are unknown and not part of the family.

Only the land is relevant as it gives an idea of the place in the time. Also of note: James Dixon's (Sr.) land was 3275 feet west of this picture. (and also 100 years earlier...)
