There is no identification for this picture. It's attribution to the family of Archibald McLean and Margaret Nairn is due to the family structure (5 boys), the prominence in the household where it was found (framed, in the household of Donald and Rachel McLean), and because there appears to be some similarity when compared to much later identified pictures of a couple of the sons.
