4) The David Booth deed (our David) to Samuel Dibble and Jeremiah Meas is witnessed by Joseph Booth and Charles Patterson. David and Betty Booth, husband and wife, of Mt. Washington, Berkshire Co., MA, sell for $850 "A certain lot of Land situated in said Mount Washington, first bound is on the West line of the Highway, in the South line of William Wright's Land, several rods South of said Wright's Dwelling house; thence in said Wright's South line to his Southwest corner then on the same course, twenty rods, thence Southwesternly forty rods, thence East twenty rods, thence near South to the Brook, thence turns with the Brook to the place where the old grist mill stood, thence taking the whole privilege of the stream to the top of the Bank, thence continuing on the top of the Bank to the highway, thence Northwesterly to a heap of stones, thence Eastwardly to the East side of the old Highway, thence on said East line of said Highway to the new traveled road, nearly opposite the Dwelling house on said premises, thence crossing over to the West six of said rods, thence Northwardly in the West line of said road to the first bounds - containing one hundred (100) acres of land, be the same, more or less - Always the Highway reserving.
