Partial transcription: April the 2 1810 Dear brother these are to inform you that we are in reasonable helth thanks to the Giver of all Blessings for his goodness to us Hoping these few Lines may find you in the Same blessing We received you (sic) letters favord By Mr. A Carns which gave us great satisfaction to hear that you was well but sorry to hear of the Death of our Mother but we aught to submit to the will of God for thats A Sean (?) that we all have to pass through....
