William Thorne

William Thorne was born about 1616 in England. He was described as Freeman in legal records on 2 May 1638 in Lynn, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He emigrated in 1642 from Sandwich. WILLIAM immigrated in 1645 to Flushing, Long Island, Colonial New Amsterdam. He died before 1665 at the age of 49 in Jamaica, Long Island, NY. BK-124 states that he had died prior to September 1655. He was buried in Friends Cemetery, Flushing, LI, NY.
