US Census source page (for Hamilton Co, Ohio) and wondered why the title says "1900" but some of the other information refers to "1910". Hopefully I did not change the year to the wrong year? We are doing a Source Rename (cleanup) Project (see home page of WeRelate). I edited one of your sources. As I understand it we are trying to encourage Users to use Community census sources. If you want you can change your link on the person page, or family page to a MySource. Debbie Freeman, one of the WeRelate Volunteer Administrators --DFree 21:52, 26 August 2009 (EDT). Apparently the link in the email I received for "current version" (which I thought meant the updated version) went back to the original source page which was for the 1900 US census for Hamilton Co, OH but showed the year range as 1910-1910. Your updated page has the correct range. Do the old versions stay around? When I found my page which uses this source, the link goes to the old page, not the updated one. (I know the difference between the source and mysource pages, but I still find it confusing and sometimes frustrating when trying to use them.) Thank you!--Whitemice 08:12, 29 August 2009 (EDT) Good morning Whitemice, Yes, I believe so. I could be wrong. If you click on the word History on the top of that source page it should show you the history of this page, you can click on the previous version. Hope this helps, Debbie Freeman --DFree 11:23, 29 August 2009 (EDT) |
