Barnes [19 September 2007]

Dear Susan,

Thanks for your note on my talk page (Kittydoc). I am a mere volunteer administrator, and came across some of your pages in that capacity. I suspect, because it's my most common function, that I edited a place name or two so that it linked to a place page correctly.

Actually, I am a Barnes, but I've not traced my one and only Barnes ancestress back across the Atlantic. Her name was Comfort Barnes. One would think an unusual name like that would make it easy to track her, but it hasn't. She lived in Maryland in the 1600's. (I'm not at home, so don't recall the specifics offhand).
