Chris, So good to see you surface again. It's been years. Congratulations on receiving your doctorate. I have been corresponding with Doris Harder from Littleton for several years now. We met her and her husband in San Francisco and had dinner with them when they were touring with his choir. She sent me many of the pictures I have posted as well as the memoir written by her g-grandmother, Emma Jane Austin Endsley, sister of Perry and Lafayette. Do you know who has the research done by Frank Cross? He was Lafayette's grandson by his daughter Charlotte. If I recall, he was a professor at Colorado School of Mines and a writer. You were the one that told me about the Francis Cooke link which I have found, and the Roger Williams descent to Josephine Hathaway, which I don't share. I have found several other Mayflower folks through Perry's wife, Arabella Stoddard. Strangely, there is a DAR chapter in Florida named for Lt. Philip Perry, but apparently, he has not been accepted by them as a qualifying ancestor. His daughter, Anna, married Nathanial Brown, whose father, Perley, is accepted. He was killed in the battle of White Plains. Standards and page protection are subjects of much discussion here. Go to my talk page and use the "more" link in the upper right to send me an e-mail directly so we can communicate privately. I have found a great deal of info since we were last in touch. --Scot 13:01, 15 March 2009 (EDT)
