Hello Patricia,

I looked around on the web at some of the website that I use. These might be the ones you are looking for. The Washington State Archives online website has a

WA State Death Certificate Index (time period 1907 - 1960) - Vinton Terry Wray - Died 26 March 1955 Seattle, King, WA age is about right. Son of a James Wray and Mary Spaulding.

WA State Marriage Index - Torsten Blondell and Isa Elizabeth Wray Married 7-1-1939 Kitsap Co., WA.

You might try to se if your local library will help you do an Inter Library Loan for the newspapers called the "Seattle Post Intelligencer" (Seattle P-I) or the "Seattle Times" on the week of this date of death. See if you can find an obit.

If you contact the Washington State Archives Regional Branch that has the King, Pierce, and Kitsap Co., WA records at their branch on Bellevue Community College (BCC) in Bellevue, WA they might be able to help you with paper copies which probably have more information on the paper copy. Also if you contact the Oregon State Archives in Salem, OR they could probably help you with a paper copy of the death certificate for Elva Marie McFadden Wray.

As for WeRelate it is many things at once. You can upload your GEDCOM minus the living in your database. Each person in your GEDCOM will have his or her own webpage. It is a Wiki (think Wikipediia) we have lists of locations, sources, etc. If you search for "Kitsap County, WA" it will give you an example. It is a shared and open system. If you want to work with a long distance cousin you can on WeRelate. All Users basically can edit pages. So you and your cousin can add photo's, stories, sources, etc together. It is also a community of user's that try to help each other. We are a mix of users in genealogy, some old hands, some newbies. Some really good with technology, and some still struggling with technology. Hope this helps. Welcome to WeRelate. Debbie Freeman --DFree 01:09, 13 May 2010 (EDT)

Moved post [13 May 2010]

Hello Patricia, welcome to WeRelate. I am a volunteer admin here, and I noticed that you posted a message on our Person Portal talk page. I moved it here, and created a userpage for you. A userpage is a place to add information about your research interests and surnames you are working on.

I would suggest watching our video tutorials would be a good place for you to begin here. You can also add Person and Family pages for people in your line that you do know, who are deceased. Due to privacy concerns, pages for living people are not allowed on WeRelate. Our support page is a good place to ask questions. Good luck and have fun! --Jennifer (JBS66) 06:32, 13 May 2010 (EDT)
