Terschelling [18 March 2009]

Hello Nicolette,

You are quite welcome to leave a message for Rinse on my Userpage, but if you want, you may also click here to access Rinse's User talk page directly. --Jennifer (JBS66) 10:41, 17 March 2009 (EDT)

Hi, Jennifer (and i hope this is jennifer's page????)

Sorry about that! I don't understand much about We Relate yet, and just took a quick look and stumbled upon "Terschelling"!

Nicolette--Nicolette 06:07, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

No apologies are necessary! Yes, this site certainly can be confusing at first. You've actually left this message on your own talk page (as opposed to mine)! However, I was notified of your post, because I am "Watching" this page. I suggested that you may want to post to Rinse's user page directly, because unless he (I hope that I'm correct in saying he!), is watching my page, he won't get the message!

Please, feel free to ask any questions as you try to find your way around. By the way - are you from the Netherlands? My husband's grandparents were from Friesland, thus my involvement in the Netherlands pages!

Until later, --Jennifer (JBS66) 06:18, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

Rinse is the name for a guy Jennifer, right on that one; girl would be Rins-ke; suffix -ke being diminutive; -ke Frisian in this case, = Nederlands -je, of -tje, comp. Jan (masc.) Jan-tje (fem.) (unless off course Jantje is a little boy, but in days of old: adult Jantje is a lady, so was my grandmother from the Groningen branch)

today's grammer :)

[psssssss, you haven't got it from me off course.......but I dragged her into this, ssssssssss]
