Place directory [18 September 2007]

Hi, I am an admin for WeRelate. Thanks so much for contributing. It's my job to help people get the most out of the site. The place directory is for particular places like cemeteries, towns, counties, districts, parishes, countries, etc. We don't have enough disc space to store addresses. I may have standardized the titles of some of your place pages. Place names need to conform to naming conventions or we end up with multiple pages for the same place. It goes "Cemetery or Hospital, Town, County name(do not write out or abbreviate the word county), (write out the words) United States."

I moved your information about Company G to the articles section 8th Kentucky Calvary Company G. Probably if someone were looking for info on Company G they would search in the articles section and not the place directory. If you have any questions, just leave me a message on my talk page. Glad to have you with us and thanks again for adding places to the place directory. Again welcome to WeRelate. :)--sq 23:00, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
