Hans Myhre wiki [11 June 2009]

• Thanks for posting to the Hans Myhre wiki page. I'm excited to be able to share information this way. Your post on one of the wiki pages generated from my GEDCOM file was the first post of its kind I've had. Do you have any documents or photos you can add?
• Also if you are a descendant of someone from Gudbrandsdal maybe you are interested in attending the 100 year celebration of the Gudbrandsdalslaget in South Saint Paul, Minnesota this summer.
• Also the Gudbrandsdalslaget has Charter Member and Early Member projects. In the Charter Member Project there's a "Myhre, Simon M. - Iola, Wisconsin" from the Ringebu area. Do you know anything about him? I believe there was a Simon Myhre who died in the Civil War but not sure this is him.

• P.S. Is the Leif Melgard you mention the famous wood carver? The Gudbrandsdalslaget is going to see some of his work at Mindekirke in Minneapolis this summer.

Hello, I don't have a connection to Has Myhre, I am one of the Administrator's on WeRelate and I added the "featured page" note to his page. He was the featured page in July, 2009, because his page included good narrative and was well-documented.
