I am Theresa Thomason and although as a teenager I was interested in a Gilbert Family book mom bought for each of my siblings and me, my interest in geneology really wasn't until I got the internet back in 1999-2000. After finding genforum sites for the different family surnames and the LDS Family Search sites and being able to send my sister Jeanette information she hadn't found in her many years of geneology hunting I was hooked.

I have found distant cousins in states I never would have dreamed of finding a relative in.

After years of hearing my dad talk of his uncles leaving every year from central/eastern Illinois and taking their farm equipment out west to help harvest crops; I finally found out just last year that one of his uncles actually lived out west and that is where they probably went, to help him.
I finally got help in finding more of my McCullough ancestors and look forward to getting help and contacting members of the Hipple families on mom's side and the Barry and Ryans on dad side of the family. It amazes me how much our ancestors traveled and how both sides of the family seem to connect, seperate and in later generations connect again.
What a wonder the computer is to connect the past and the present as it does.
