I began my genealogy research over twenty years ago, but I have not worked with it consistently over that time. With the advent of the Internet and all the new tools and sources it provides, I have gotten back into it.
I am researching my wife's family as well as my own and I have had much more success with her tree due to the proximity of primary sources in Iowa.
