I research my mother's family the Barrett's in Fredrick County VA leading all the way to
John Thomas Cook Barrett, born in around 1630 in Maidstone, Kent, England, UK and past on the 9th of October in the year 1709 in Somerset PA, USA.
My mother Janice Carolyn "Barrett" Kilpatrick Died in April of 2006 and I really never got to know all of our ancestors and it just really interests me. Her mother Wilma Berniece Rouse Barrett was from Unionville, Putnam County, Missouri, USA. I cant find much on my great grandfather rouse.
My father family is from Ireland they are the Kilpatrick's. Sometimes Spelled Killpatrick. My dad's Mother was Talma Louise Clark Kilpatrick. She past on in 2006 as well. She was from Crawfordsville, Washington COunty, IA.
I love looking up my whole family and seeing where we came from. Its just fascinating.
I live in the town of Tom and Huck on the great old mississippi. I was born and raised in Mt Pleasant Iowa though. Had a ruff life but I love the history of this town. Mt Pleasant has history too, every town does in its own way.--Kilpatrickh 02:00, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
