I am researching the Shredl/Sredl surnames. My great-grandparents immigrated from Bohemia in 1881. Their names were Vaclav and Anezka Sredl, which was changed to Shredl around 1897 or 1898. The family first lived in the Cleveland, Ohio area and moved to Petersburg, VA in 1897. Their children were - Joseph, Marie, Anezka, Rose (Zaruba), James, Otto and George. Vaclav married a second time to Christine. Their children were Antony and Lydia (Kratochvil). If anyone has information on any of this family, please get in touch with me. Thank you.
