The overwhelming majority of WeRelate pages - that are tagged with a corresponding Wikidata ID - are appropriate for comparison with the corresponding Wikidata ID page. However, there are a handful of situations where comparison is not appropriate - or information is too ambiguous to determine what to do. For example - Wikidata represents some genealogy that transitions from semi-legendary to completely legendary. People that are wholly legendary are not appropriate for representation on WeRelate. By listing the last semi-legendary person in a WeRelate genealogy line on this page - our comparison tool has a way to avoid returning differences that are known to not be appropriate for inclusion in WeRelate. Other reasons for inclusion here will appear next to the included item.

Q2531480 (Wikidata) Person:Volkmar_I._von_Harzgau_(1) - Wikidata reports a parent, but English Wikipedia says nothing is known respecting this person's parents.

Q1584977 (Wikidata) Person:King Lot (1) - King from Arthurian legend.

Q983624 (Wikidata) Person:Lupo_II_of_Gascony_(1) - Wikidata indicates a father, but English Wikipedia indicates that parents are only speculative.

Q650307 (Wikidata) Person:Aleksander Połubiński (1) - Wikidata has an additional spouse and child ids - which are entirely devoid of identifying materials.

Q8474 (Wikidata) Person:Suleiman the Magnificent (1) - Hopeless unless I learn arabic.

Q23930962 (Wikidata) - Claimed to be a daughter of Charlemagne, but has no English WP page and not mentioned on the English WP page for Charlemagne.

Q2826477 (Wikidata) Person:Agatha Unknown (36) - Wife of Edward the Exile. English WP indicates no accepted parents, but Wikidata claimed Person:Vladimir I of Kiev (1) is Father.

Q3851874 (Wikidata) - Matilde di Altavilla - a daughter of Roger I of Sicily - but I can't figure out which wife or mistress she belongs with.

Q1883439 (Wikidata) - Madoc ab Owain Gwynedd (Madoc) - illegitimate child of Owain Gwynedd, not known with certainty in the historical record. Claimed to have visited N America before Columbus - perhaps this WR person. But not appropriate for WR if legendary only.

Q68366 (Wikidata) Person:Siward,_Earl_of_Northumbria_(1) - Wikidata indicates father to be Beorn Estrithson - but it seems improper to place a speculative father there.

Q15615597 (Wikidata) - Child of Mstislav I of Kiev - names only in Cyrillic and I don't read that!

Q38010360 (Wikidata) - Child of Leo II of Armenia - no recognizable name that I can associate with an English form.

Q6710205 (Wikidata) - Wikidata seriously messed up on this person - two fathers, two mothers. Probably resolvable, but not quickly.

Q4439380 (Wikidata) - Child of Vlaidimir the Great. Information a bit confusing. Get back to this some day...

Q1611579 (Wikidata) - Herman, child of Frederick of Luxembourg? Not mentioned in the WP pages I can read - circumstances of birth unknown.

Q2718796 (Wikidata) - Person:Godred Crovan (2), parents not known with certainty, but Wikidata offers TWO fathers...

Q961145 (Wikidata) - Person:Herbert Ier de Vermandois (1), mother not known, but Wikidata indicates one...

Q298624 (Wikidata) - Person:Antiochus Dionysus (1), Wikidata specifies a father - but English WP says parents not confirmed

Q1026694 (Wikidata) - Person:Philip Stanhope (3), Wikidata asserts he had a child with Barbara Palmer, but Wikipedia considers that to be speculative.

Q291880 (Wikidata) - Person:Theodora Angelina (6), Wikidata asserts a particular mother, but English WP claims parents are uncertain

Q766873 (Wikidata) - Person:Swietopelk_I,_Duke_of_Pomerania_(1), Wikidata asserts a father, but English WP is uncertain.

Q2567607 (Wikidata) - Person:Gradlon Unknown (2), semi legendary.

Q949640 (Wikidata) - Person:Miró of Cerdanya (1), Wikidata asserts a spouse but English WP offers two that are speculative. Likewise, his child Q2043842 (Wikidata) Person:Seniofredo_de_Cerdanya_(1) asserts the same mother.

Q3651352 (Wikidata) - Person:Giorgi Txikovani (1), Wikidata provides a father - but it's Cyrillic!

Q975981 (Wikidata) - Person:Hugh of Champagne (1) , English WP specifies mother as Anstrude. Wikidata gives Adaltruda. While those names might be for the same person - they don't seem to have consistent parents.

Q3562315 (Wikidata) - Person:Æthelstan_of_Wessex_(1), Wikidata suggests Osburh as a mother - but English WP doesn't know.

Q720 (Wikidata) - Person:Genghis_Khan_(1), Wikidata offers lots of names for spouses, siblings, children. Worth revisiting some time - but hard to believe such information is known with any certainty.

Q595053 (Wikidata) - Person:Clovis_III_(1), Wikidata offers a specific father but English WP offers only a couple uncertain candidates.

Q233461 (Wikidata) - Person:Theuderic_I_(1), Wikidata offers a second spouse - "Ne"? But English WP is silent.

Q5503581 (Wikidata) - Person:Fridleif_Frodasson_(1), Norse semi-legendary territory. Wikidata offers "Ale the strong" as a child - instance of human who may be fictional.

Q248335 (Wikidata) - Person:Dietrich_I_von_Wettin_(1), oldest tracable member of the house of Wettin. Two fathers offered in Wikidata, three different ones suggested in Wikipedia - but nothing known with certainty.

Q662533 (Wikidata) - Person:Rolf_Kraki_(1), legendary Danish figure/King

Q660839 (Wikidata) - Person:Vitslav_I,_Prince_of_Rügen_(1), Margarete of Sweden indicated as speculative wife in English WP - provided as certain by WD

Q73310 (Wikidata) - Person:Berthold_von_Schweinfurt_(1), WD offers a definitive father - but English WP indicates his background is subject of dispute with several alternatives offered.

Q2499376 (Wikidata) - Person:Oliba_Cabreta_(1), WD offers a definitive mother - but English WP indicates that the specific identity of "Ava" (who married his father) is disputed.

Q888531 (Wikidata) - Person:Offa_of_Essex_(1), English WP pages variously indicate father to be "Sighere" or "Sigheard" (not the same). Someone knowledgeable could probably untangle, but not I.

Q105964 (Wikidata) - Person:Wilhelmine_von_Grävenitz_(1), Wikidata indicates a second marriage to an unnamed person. English WP is silent on a second relationship.

Q536820 (Wikidata) - Person:John IV of Trebizond (1), WD indicates two children - but English WP specifically refutes those as doubtful.

Q6469957 (Wikidata) - Person:Barbara FitzRoy (1), daughter of Barbara Villiers. Accepted by Person:Charles II of England (1) but this paternity is doubted. WD accepts Charles as father.
