I'm researching the Oldham families of America. Would love any help in sorting out the Oldham families in the Northern Neck of Virginia. Concentrating on James and Leah Stephens Oldham, bn abt 1745. Were in Loudoun County, Virginia in the 1770's, believed to have migrated through Shenandoa County, then Henry County, Virginia. Migrated to Sevier / Cocke County, Tennessee before 1795, them moved on to Fayette / Union County, Indiana by 1826-1830.

The family of Louis P. Hays, b. abt 1810? possibly in Delaware has been my brick wall for too many years. In Jefferson / Switzerland County, Indiana in the 1840 Federal Census. I think they were dropped off by an alien spaceship about 1839.

The last Hohreiter in Germany died a few years ago. There are a few left in the US, but none seem to be interested in genealogy. Any and all information is welcome.
