I am researching descendants of Archibald (Edmiston)McSpadden, born 1749/50 in Augusta County, Virginia, Son of Thomas McSpadden and Dorothy Edmiston and married to Mary Stuart. I am particularly interested in any documentation related to activities of Moses , his son, born in 1772, in Fincastle, Botetourt, Virginia, married Joanna Boucher and died before 1847. Moses' son Samuel D McSpadden,,born about!790 in Virginia, , Married Phoebe Boucher, and died after 1860 in Gordon County, Georgia, and Samuel D. McSpadden's son Joseph Boucher McSpadden, born 16 Oct 1820 in Washington County, Virginia, married Edith C Dillard, Died 24 Jan 1882, Dry Valley, Carter County, Missouri and his son John W. McSpadden born in 1850 in Gordon County, Georgia, married Rebecca Josephine Wilson, died before 1890 in Texas. He had 4 children by Rebecca , including my Grandfather, Claude Cecil McSpadden, born in 1884 in Van Buren, Carter County , Missouri. After his death , Rebecca then married George F Weldon and had several other children. If anyone has any documentation related to any of these McSpaddens , please share with me. Joe Russell McSpadden
