My family arrived in this country from the 1600s to the late 1800s, coming from Germany/Alsace, Wales, Cornwall, England,Ireland and Holland. Some of the German immigrants originally came from Switzerland and have Mennonite origins. There are two reported Lenape(Delaware Indian) ancestors.
My family lived in eastern PA, western NJ and possibly southern NY state. PA counties of origin are Berks, Northampton, Schuylkill, Monroe and Pike; NJ county of origin is Warren and possibly Sussex for earlier dates. Unsure about NY--possibly Orange and Sullivan counties.
