Ebenezer Dickey was born in 1796 in Franklin Co., KY

12 Feb. 1818: Document states that Ebenezer Dickey of Orange Co. Indiana purchased the NW quarter of Section 32, in Twp 9 N of Range 1 W amounting to 160 acres for $320 in Monroe County, IN.

Ebenezer married Mary Eslinger on April 1, 1819 in Monroe County, Indiana. (Mary Eslinger was born in 1803 in Jefferson County, Tennessee and died before 1880.)Apparently returned to Ohio as he was found in the Madison Twp., Butler County, Ohio census in 1820.

Ebenezer and Mary went to Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri in 1830, then to Cape Girardeau County of Missouri in 1831, then to Des Moines County, Iowa, by 1833 and to neighboring Henry County, Iowa, by 1842.

Moved to Jackson Co., Oregon in 1773, then to Siskyou Co., California. By 1778, he was in Trinity Co., California.
