Hello from Georgialea. I am researching my family on my mother's and my father's side. I had some information from some previous work on both sides, but had put it aside for awhile. I now have my own computer and have been doing a lot of work from there. I have run into a few dead ends that I am looking for help with. Currently, I live in a very small town in Colorado, though my family has lived in California for four generations. My mothers great great grandfather was a 49er. My father's family on his father's side originated in England. I am having trouble finding connections for my great great great grandfather's home state of Kentucky or is it Missouri. I have found that on census forms they sometimes give wrong information as to age and state they or their parents were born. Also, the census forms for most states in 1890 are missing. Anyway, I hope someone will have some information that will help.
