My name is Gerald Raymond "Keith" Albrecht. I have been doing genealogical research on my family since 1993. But, I had actually been challenged to get involved in doing so in 1964 when my Aunt Mae (Mary Albrecht Veprovski) told me that since I was my father's oldest (and only) son and he was the oldest son in the family I had to do it!
After starting genealogy, I became addicted to it but got bored when I hit a stone wall so I "helped" seven or eight friends either start or add to their family histories. (I know a glutten for punishment).
Finally after all these years, I found WeRelate: somewhere to finally be forced to really get the documentation and maybe even get the stories down. Wow, what a treat!!!
