I am a Buchanan researching my family's history and origin. I am retired so have a reasonable amount of time to do genealogical research. Also I am new to genealogy and especially new to WeRelate and learning how to use it. Of special interest right now (Aug 2013) is verifying the connection between David Buchanan (b 1808 in VA, moved to Indiana) and his supposed father: Hugh Buchanan (b abt 1775, Augusta VA).
