My name is Patrick S. Brodbent. I live in Colorado and have been researching my relitives for a number of years. Lately I have spent more time searching. The surnames I am always searching for are:
-Brodbent
-Broadbent, specifically the parents & g-parents... of Giles Sykes Broadbent who died in Upper Mill, Saddleworth Twp, Yorkshire, England. I find once you try to jump the pond to England things are hard to find.
-Merkley, specifically Clifford Grant Merkley, born 1925 in Montreal, Canada. He was married to my aunt Elizabeth A. Brodbent from Cleveland, OH, died June 1961 in Schomberg, Ontario. They had six kids (my cousins who I have never met).
-Fisk, specifically anything about Cordelia Virginia Fisk, born in 1857 at Calvaras Creek Ranch , Bexar County, Texas
-Foster, specifically an Adelaide Foster who died in Morgantown, PA in 1852
