Hello: My name is Grace Younglove Hudson, I have been researching the Younglove sur name for about 50 years. I am compiling any and all information on the Younglove name. I still have several brick walls that need to come down and would appreciate any help. I have a Younglove family that is located in Canada that I have not been able to link into the Younglove genealogy. This is my main focus but I also have several other lines that I need to connect into the Younglove family so help would also be appreciated on these families. I found my first ancestor Samuel Younglove b. ca 1605 in Epping England d. 1689 In Ipswich, Essex Co., England and his marriage to Margery (Margaret) Leggatt m. 1 Jul 1633 listed in the register of All Saints Church in Epping, England. Samuel 30 years old with his wife Margaret, age 28 and son Samuel, age 1, were cleared for immigration in London, England on September 11, 1635. They sailed on the ship Hopewell in the month of September 11, 1635. Thomas Babb was the Shipmaster. The ship landed port in Boston, MA in late November. Ipswich was called Aggawam, when settled in 1630. Samuel received a grant of land in Ipswich, MA, the reason for it has not been found. He settled at Ipswich before the end of 1635. On February 13, 1677/8. He received the right of commonage. He became a voter in town affairs on December 2, 1679. He was named in the records "Butcher", apparently the first one in Ipswich. Both Samuel and Margaret were living in the town of Ipswich in 1687/8.
