Watchers

Defect 1 [22 February 2014]

Savage appears to have incorrectly interpreted the Exeter and Reading appearances of one Samuel Walker as two different men.--jrm03063 03:47, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

What evidence is there that they are the same man? The birth of children to Samuel Walker in Reading starting in 1643 and continuing into the 1650's would seem to suggest he actually is a different man than one that was in Exeter in 1644, that one unknown to me. --Jrich 05:23, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Defect 2 [22 February 2014]

The Samuel who married Sarah Read has as a second wife Abigail Carter. Savage conflates three generations of Samuel Walkers. The father of this Samuel married the widow of Arthur Alger, not Andrew Alger. The son of this Samuel has a wife named Judith Howard, who was not a widow, and who died in 1724. --Jrich 04:58, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Defect 3 [22 February 2014]

Two Samuel Walkers born about the same time, one in Charlestown to Augustine in 1642, one in Reading to Samuel in 1643. Per NEHGR, Vol. 57, p. 350, "the Woburn Walkers, so called, were not descendants of Capt. Augustine Walker of Charlestown, Mass." and shows him as a son of Samuel of Reading. --Jrich 05:26, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
