Defect 1

She m. Philip Walker, not Samuel.

Source:Walker, James Bradford. Memorial of the Walkers of the Old Plymouth Colony, Embracing Genealogical and Biographical Sketches of John Taunton, Philip (publ. 1861, one year after Savage), p. 330, points out that the will of Michael Metcalf does not give Mr. Walker's christian name, there is "no Samuel, of so early a date", and that Philip Walker had a wife named Jane and a son named Michael.
