d. 20 Nov. 1691, aged 83. By w. Sarah, wh. d. 26 May 1700, he prob.
had John; Hannah, bapt. 7 Apr. 1639; Samuel, Apr. 1641; Elizabeth 28
Apr. 1644; Jeremiah, 1 Mar. 1646; Israel, 23 Apr. 1648; Moses, b.
12 Aug. 1650; Josiah, 4, bapt. 8 May 1653; Nehemiah, 21 Jan. bapt.
24 Feb. 1656; Sarah, b. 22 Feb. 1659; Mary 12 June 1661; Hannah,
the sec. 20 Mar. 1664; and Abigail, 9, bapt. 15 Dec. 1667. His will,
of 30 Nov. 1689, ment. these exc. John (and of him names the w. wh.
was m. to Joseph Turner) and Jeremiah, of the s. and first Hannah, and
Elizabeth of the ds. wh. were d. (and of Elizabeth names the s.). Sarah m. 17
Apr. 1678, Nehemiah Clap of Dorchester; and aft. him Samuel Howe;
Hannah 2d m. 25 Oct. 1683, Joseph Loring; and Abigail m. 20 Jan.
1686, Isaac Lazell. But the two elder ds. wh. were d. had m. viz.:
Hannah, 29 July 1659, to John Lobdell, and d. 23 Apr. 1662; and
Elizabeth m. 25 Mar. 1667, Samuel Judkins. Moses went to Exeter bef.
1683. JOHN, Exeter, or Dover, 1645. JOHN, Hingham, s. of John of
the same, m. 27 June 1664, Bathsheba, d. of the Rev. Peter Hobart,
and d. bef. his f. His wid. m. Joseph Turner. JOSIAH, Hingham, br.
of the preced.; was freem. 1679; m. 20 Oct. 1676, Margaret, d. of
Humphrey Johnson, had Josiah, b. 28 July 1679; Joseph, 23 July
1681; Margaret, 20 Oct. 1683; Jeremiah, 21 Aug. 1685; Joshua, 1
Aug. 1687; David, 16 Aug. 1691; Asaph, 31 July 1695; Hezekiah,
17 Sept. 1697; and Mary, 7 Oct. 1699; every one, with his w. nam. in
his will, 2 Aug. 1708. He d. 14 Sept. foll. and his wid. d. 12 June
1739. Joshua, his s. was early at Suffield, where his est. in 1734, was
div. among 5 ch. MOSES, Exeter, s. of the first John, m. 26 Oct. 1681,
Dorothy, d. of Rev. Samuel Dudley, had John; Dudley; Daniel;
Stephen; Joseph; and seven more, whose names are not kn. NEHEMIAH,
Hingham, br. of the preced. by w. Alice had Mary, b. 19 Aug.
1693, d. next mo.; ano. ch. d. 18 Oct. 1694, whose name was prob.
Jacob; Daniel, 30 May 1697; and Abigail, 10 Dec. 1699. SAMUEL,
Exeter, br. of the preced. had James, was rep. 1684. THOMAS, Exeter
1639, may have been br. of the first John, bef. 1644 rem. to Hampton,
and d. 28 Nov. 1696; leav. says Farmer, s. Hezron, Aratus, b. 1646;
John; Thomas; James, 1602, d. young; Isabel; Jemima; and Heriah;
but the order is unkn. His w. Isabel d. 19 Feb. 1700. His name is
used ag a grantee, with John Wheelwright and two others in that
enormous forgery of the deed of the whole S. and E. part of the Province
