is spelt Pidge, wh. may show the sound. ROBERT, New Haven 1644, d.
1660, or very early next yr. his inv. being of 23 Jan. foll. and
his will of 28 Mar. preced. In it he names w. Margaret, wh. m. 1662,
William Tharpe or Thorpe, d. Alice mean, w. of John Jenner, perhaps,
her s. Thomas "and her other childr." Possib. he was br. of THOMAS
of Roxbury, freem. 14 May 1634, wh. brot from Eng. w. Mary, and
sev. ch. had here Martha, bapt. 12 Mar. 1643, and he d. 30 Dec. foll.
His will, pro. 12 Sept. 1644, gives Thomas, John, Hannah, Sarah, and
Martha, propty. in R. and to d. Mary, w. I think of Nicholas Wood, his
allotm. in Dedham. His wid. m. 13 Aug. 1645, Michael Metcalf. THOMAS,
Dedham, s. of the preced. d. early in Sept. 1660, prob. never
m. at least his br. John and sis. had his prop. Geneal. Reg. X. 180.

PIGGOT, CHRISTOPHER, Boston 1655, on 27 Apr. of wh. yr. an order
was passed, that his w. shall be forthwith sent to him at Muddy riv. by
the constable.
PIGHOGG, Mr. Boston, adm. a townsman 28 Feb. 1652, with prefix of
respect, and entitled a "churrergeon." See Rec. I. 103, wh. gives no
name of bapt.
PIGROM, WILLIAM, Dorchester 1653, perhaps only transient.
PIKE, GEORGE, Marblehead 1668. HUGH, Newbury, a soldier under
Turner, at Hatfield, in Apr. 1676, m. 17 June 1685, Sarah, d. of Francis
Brown, had Hugh, b. 28 May 1686, and Joseph. JAMES, Charlestown
1647, then adm. of the ch. and made freem. rem. to Reading, had
two ws. Naomi, and Sarah, two s. John, b. 1 Jan. 1654; and Zechariah,
8 Oct. 1658; but of wh. w. either was s. or whether there were more
ch. or their names if there were more, as is prob. exc. Jermiah, or
when either of the ws. or the ch. d. I have not heard. He d. 1699.
JEREMIAH, Reading, prob. s. of the preced. had Jermiah, b. 15 Jan.
1674; James, 2 May 1676, d. soon; as did Eliezer or Ebenezer, b. next
yr.; Michael, 7 Apr. 1678; James, again. 7 Nov. 1679, d. young;
Rachel, 14 Dec. 1681; James, again, 15 Sept. 1682; Nathaniel, 4 May
1685; William, 14 Mar. 1687; Naomi, 14 Feb. 1689; was of Framingham,
a selectman 1700, and d. 9 Jan. 1711. JOHN, Newbury, came
in the James. 1635, from Southampton, call. in the clearance from the
custom-ho. laborer of Langford, with ch. was at Ipswich first, in 1640 of
Piscataqua. and rem. perhaps early to Salisbury, but more prob. only
estab. there on his est. sec. s. d. 26 May 1654, leav. will, made two days
bef. in wh. he provides for gr.s. John, and gr.s. John, s. of
Robert, three ds. Dorothy, w. of Daniel Hendrick, by wh. we discov. the
