OBITUARY.
Mr. Patrick McGrath, aged 70 years, a resident of East Shelbourne for the past 40 years, passed away at his residence yesterday from heart failure. The deceased gentleman, who was a native of Waterford, Ireland, had been in Australia nearly 50 years. He had only been ailing for four days, and was under the care of Dr. De Ravin. A widow and famiiy of four sons and one daughter survive.
Our Wedderburn correspondent writes:— The burial of the remains of the late Mr. John A. Finch took place at the Wedderburn Cemetery yesterday. The deceased gentleman was a farmer, and for many years a State school teacher at Fenton's Creek and Rheola. An old identity in Mrs. Phillips, widow of the late Mr. Adam Phillips, of Bosco Flat, died here on Thursday.
