Homer Thrall family

On 7 Mar 1878, Louisa A. Thrall (AKA Ida), daughter of Dr. Homer Thrall and Mary Sutton, married Andrew Langston Gash in Barnhill, Wayne County, Illinois.

Their son Homer was born 23 Sep 1879, and Andrew died of consumption the following year, on 1 Dec 1880.

On 14 Jul 1881, according to the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index, Louisa A. Gast married Allyn S. Morgan. They had a daughter Minnie, who died at 1 year 2 months and 10 days. And on 25 Oct 1887 they had another daughter. She's not named in the Wayne County birth record, and her parents are called Wm. Turham Morgan and Ida Thrall.

The whole family seems to sink out of sight at this point. Only in the 1900 census does a girl named Lulu, born Oct 1887, appear in the household of Louisa's sister Florence C. Thrall Hooper, called "niece."

Lulu grew up to marry Kansas grain trader Frank Geoffroy and enjoyed a long and productive life. My question is, who was her father?

A prime candidate would be her cousin Allen/Allyn Theodore Morgan from Edwards County immediately to the east, who was widowed in 1880. But he's on record as marrying Mary Catherine Schofield in Edwards County 8 Nov 1886, and his obituary FWIW mentions no intervening wife.
