Template:Sibling/doc

This template is used on a Person page to link to a sibling when both parents are living.

▼Usage

Place the following on the Person page.

{{Sibling|PersonPageName}}

where PersonPageName is the simple page name (without the "Person:"), like "George Washington (6)".

You should also add a corresponding "Sibling" template on the referenced Person page. That template usage should give the page name of the page you use this template on.

Note: Remember to remove the templates when creating the Family page and standard relationship links for the person's parents after their death.

Suggested Placement

This template was designed for placement in the "Description" field of an event/fact (a fact type of "Other" can be used), rather than for use within a narrative (note the label included in the display). However, it can be used in the "Narrative" section.
