Watchers

Usage

This template is used on a Person or Family page to explicitly indicate the page of another Person or Family that is known to have been confused with this one.

Place the following on the Person or Family page.

{{NotToBeConfusedWith|PageName}}

where PageName is the simple page name (without the "Person:" or "Family:"), like "George Washington (6)".

When using this template, it is particularly helpful to support the fact with sources/notes showing that this confusion has occurred and thus should be cautioned against.

You should also add a corresponding NotToBeConfusedWith template reference on the target page, pointing back to the originating page.

Suggested Placement

This template can be placed in the Description field of a fact (of type "Other") or in the "Narrative" section.

Example

{{NotToBeConfusedWith|George Washington (1)}}

will appear as:

Not to be confused with: George Washington (1)

linking to the WeRelate page Person:George Washington (1).
