Usage

This template creates a link to an article on Wikipedia. There is a parameter to specify which language version of Wikipedia you wish to link to. It is prudent to determine whether, in fact, the Wikipedia article that you plan to cross-reference exists.

Parameters

Parameter Explanation
page title Substitute Wikipedia's page title in the language to which you are linking.
language code Substitute the language code. This is the two-letter code as per ISO 639-1. When no code is entered, the default value is EN (English)
