Indian River and Lafayette River [14 March 2013]

I believe there's a confusion here.

The record presented refers to an Indian River, Beaver Dam, and South Fork. The Elizabeth River does have a tributary (of sorts) in the form of "Indian River", but its in Tidewater Virginia, not Old Augusta. A search if GNIS does not pick uo any other contemporary "Indian River".

I believe the reference to "Indian River" is in fact a reference to what is now known as the Holston River. See: Stephen Holston. This article explains the evolution of the name from Indian River to Holston River, and also identifies Davies Fancy as lying on the Holston.

I believe this should be folded into the Holston River Watershed article.--Q 18:38, 14 March 2013 (EDT)

Ok with me Bill, you are more familiar with the areas, I'll defer to your judgement.

Thanks,

Jim:)
