Catalog description: The first record we have of Peter Worden (ye elder) is in Plymouth Colony Court Records, 1638/9. He is listed as "Old Worden," he was one of four men who discovered Yarmouth, on Cape Cod. His descendant of the eight generation, Waite Worden (ca 1759-1816?) of Waterford, Connecticut, was probably born in Rhode Island, the son of John Worden (1724?-1779?). He was the father of three sons, 1782- 1789. Their descendants lived in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Michigan and elsewhere. [edit] ▼ Usage TipsAvailable at the Family History Library. |
