• Internet Archive: 14th Population Census of the United States - 1920 provides free access to images of the 1920 census. These are not indexed and cannot be searched by name, but can be browsed by enumeration district.
• To determine the correct 1920 census enumeration district for the area you wish to search, try this online tool, Obtaining EDs for the (1900-1940) Census in One Step (Large Cities). This page has links to additional tools to search for the descriptions of enumeration districts in smaller areas.
• Many local libraries offer free home access (through their websites) to Heritage Quest, which has searchable images of the 1920 census.
• Census films can be ordered from the Family History Center

Note: For 1920 Census, Reel 602, browsing through heritagequest.com page by page, one finds Whitley County following Wolfe County. Page numbering starts over. Whitley County starts with page 1, following immediately after the last page of Wolfe County (page 268), all on Reel 602 for the heritagequest.com filming. Unfortunately the copy of Reel 602 on archive.org appears to stop at the end of Wolfe County, and doesn't have the pages for Whitely County. I can't find them on any other reel. I needed to cite p. 204 of reel 602, but if heritagequest.com is correct, there are two page 204's??? --Jrich 00:45, 16 August 2013 (EDT)
