First published in five volumes as Maine Coast Romance by Stanhope Press from 1904-1909; apparently republished in the same five volumes as the Maine Pioneer Settlements in 1909 by W B Clarke Co. May be ordered through the nearest Family History Center. Available at the Internet Archive and Google Books. Includes:

  • Vol 1: Olde Casco, ye romance of Casco Bay
  • Vol 2: Old York
  • Vol 3: The Sokoki trail (St. John River, northern Maine?).
  • Vol 4: Olde Pemaquid
  • Vol 5: The land of St. Castin.
