Samuel Snoddy was b. c1720 Ireland? md c1745 Ireland? to Elizabeth Sloan (c1725-c1815). He d. 1806 Iredell Co. NC....1768 tax of Rowan Co.NC...land there in 1778...Samuel did not serve in the Rev. War but his 3 oldest sons & 5 sons-in-law did as well as a future son-in-law. Samuel & Elizabeth (Sloan) Snoddy's children were:

Eleanor (1751-after 1805) md James Morrison;
