Catalog description: Samuel Morrow (d.1796) moved from Maryland to Chester District, South Carolina by 1765, and received land at Fishing Creek, Craven District, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and elsewhere.
DNA testing has changed the understanding of the likely family structures of Samuel and his male relatives. See Morrow in South Carolina. As this book repeats most of the traditional structure of Samuel's family, that section should be used in light of later findings. But the rest of the book provides valuable research and information.
